well to start with i would like to comment on the recent hullaboo about the much touted GPS and PND(personal naviagtion devices). Every now and then we keep hearing ,majorly reading blogs about this new technology. But i really have a doubt on this coz till now we dont have ne authentic and detailed maps of our cities(or is there any company who have good accurate maps of our cities at least ????

I do Agree with the above person as a GPS device will give you location in terms of Longitudes and latitudes. and a map is must which can be concided with the longitudes and latitudes, then only GPS device will be of any worth to common men. othe wise only Force person can understood the meaning of these lats and longitudes.
As far as maps are concerned i dont think any company is making maps in Inida to a very detailed level except Eicher who has very detailed maps of few metro cities.
